What not to mention in your resume?

In today’s cutthroat competition, it is very important to frame your resume in a correct manner, or else you lose your chances of getting selected. If you are wondering about what not to mention in resume, here’s providing you with some points:

What not to mention in resume?

  • You should not mention such past experiences which are in no way related to the job.
  • Unrelated interests are also recommended to be excluded.
  • It is strongly recommended to avoid use of vague objectives and exaggerations.
  • Sending your photograph is also not required, until specified by the employee.
  • Weakness and negative points should be avoided. Usually, employees remain more interested in the professional accomplishments of the applicants.
  • If you are applying for a job just for time-being, do not mention that in your resume. No employer wants short-time staffing as frequent staffing procedure incurs high cost to the company.
